Words&Music by Jerry Northup

About me, by me: I'm Jerry Northup, a writer, a guitarist (pictured left); and honestly, a guy who would really like to spend more time out on the tennis court.

For the last 30 years, I've earned my living as a writer in advertising and marketing. That's a long time. Comes with jobs, samples and achievements out the wazoo.
That makes for an even longer resume ... booorrrring.
The short of it is you can trust I write well. Across any channel. I take pride in every word I keystroke into text, same as I do in every chord I downstroke into music.

In Words&Music, I'm bringing those concepts together for the first time in my newly branded freelance blogging business.

So, what does that mean? Well, no grand carousel of portfolio pieces for one. I think the content on this site proves the point.

Secondly, the blogs here represent the focus of my work going forward: topics of interest, largely musical, given long-form, essay-style treatment in article form.

If it interests you, and you think it holds interest for others, let's talk about it.

I'll be happy to write it up.
